Who runs the Foundation for Women in Enterprise?

The Foundation is run by businesswomen for businesswomen.

Each member of the committee has a distinguished record in business and all are committed to giving something back to other women who are just starting out in business or who are looking to grow their businesses and connect with other like-minded women. 

Bee Davidson

Bee is the Managing Partner of Hewitts Solicitors, a growing law firm with five offices across Durham and Tees Valley and over 100 employees. As part of her legal work she sits as a District Judge in the civil courts in the North East and in her role as Cheif Executive of a large, high-street practice, she holds several Directorships within the community; with the Greater Durham Citizens Advice Bureau and the Pioneering Care Partnership in Bishop Auckland. 

Pamela Hargreaves

Pamela is the owner of Water Babies Tees Valley and North York Moors Limited, an organisation that teachers around 1000 babies and toddlers how to swim each week. She is Chair of a local children's charity, a former Councillor of 12 years and one of the founders of Women What Do.biz and Stockton Businesswomen's Networks. Pamela is the host of the annual Foundation for Women's Enterprise event held each March to celebrate International Women's Day.  

Janice Auton

Janice is the founder and owner of Poppys Hairdressing. With salons in Stockton and Hartlepool, Janice has forged an award-winning career in the hair and beauty industry over the last 40 years. Janice also co-founded Women What Do.biz and Stockton Businesswomen's Network where she is often found sharing her knowledge and experience with others who are at the start of their business journey. 

Sara Noel

Sara is the founder of Strategize Your Biz and the author of 'How to COPE with growing your business'. Her mission is to help many business owners either start up or scale up by developing effective business strategies in order to achieve the financial goals of businesses. She has worked on a global scale in Export Management and gained extensive experience in the retail sector after graduating from the University of Teesside in 1999.
